Villa Juwel is located only 120 m away from the FIS Ski slope Petersbründel, a flat short stroll. The ski bus to the major skiing areas (Katschberg, St. Margarethen) is in close walking distance. From the Katschberg Ski area you can usually ski down all the way to the villa during high winter. The area is quiet with very little traffic and offers beautiful walks as well in Summer as in Winter. Children can use the slope of the mountain close to the villa beside the ski lift for sledding and ther is on the right of Peterspründel Skilift a forest path that can also be used for sledding. Salzburg is only 1 hr 15  by car away, Venice Italy 3 hours 20 minutes. The ski areas of  St.Margarethen, Katschberg, Speiereck and Obertauern are all close. The Moelltaler Glacier is 1,5 hours away.
